Job Purpose :

The Yard Labourer is responsible for maintaining the yard at the Leduc shop. There are times where assistance in the shop would be required for this role, as well as opportunities for overtime and call-ins.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

• Operate loader and lift truck
• Daily maintenance of yard equipment and documentation of maintenance
• Load and unload equipment from both field trucks and vendors
• Keep yard organized, inventoried and have equipment in designated locations
• Document the shipping & receiving of equipment
• Prepare loads for shipping
• Move equipment in and out of the shop
• Assist welders when required
• Help with shop duties when required
• Work overtime and call-ins

Qualifications / Competencies :

The successful candidate will have :

• High School Diploma
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High level attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to complete work with high level of accuracy and minimal supervision
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, with a cleans drivers abstract
