Our client is the world leader in water and wastewater treatment service.

Under the responsibility of the Mobile Unit Manager, you will be called upon to act as an operator according to the assigned projects.

You will work with our clients primarily in Canada. This position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision

Rôle et responsabilités

  • Operate mobile water treatment units in remote areas ;
  • Monitor treatment processes by performing sampling, laboratory analyzes and various measurements such as chemical dosages;
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of equipment ;
  • Write follow-up reports ;
  • Perform laboratory analyses ;
  • Analyze, diagnose and provide solutions to problems; encountered during operations (process or mechanical in particular) ;
  • Participate / supervise the installation or demobilization of mobile water treatment units at the beginning and end of the project.

Exigences du poste

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in water treatment or equivalent.
  • Has very good practical knowledge and skills in diagnosing problems in electricity, mechanics, instrumentation and control and likes to develop them;
  • Availability to travel;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English;
  • Knowledge of French is a plus;
  • Possess a valid driver's license and an impeccable driving record;
  • Availability to work nights and live in a camp;
  • Physical fitness required to be able to work long hours on your feet, work outdoors, lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Contractual position, duration up to 6 months and a possibility to become permanent;
  • The working location may be in remote regions for mining or industrial sites;
  • The schedule may vary between day or night shifts, on a 14 / 14 days rotation followed by 12 days of resting (including one day travelling for coming and another for going);
  • The lodging and restaurant accommodations may be in a camp site near the project location.
