About

The Opportunity :

As Warehouse Supervisor, reporting to the Materials Manager, you’ll oversee shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions while playing a key role in managing company inventory.

You’ll work closely with production and materials teams to ensure that all warehouse operations meet quality, production, and safety standards.

This position involves managing the flow of goods to and from customers and suppliers while ensuring compliance with ISO9001 : 2015 and IATF 16949 Quality System standards and encouraging continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Leading shipping and receiving teams across two shifts
  • Ensuring accurate, timely shipments using QAD
  • Coordinating product movement via company trucks and tracking transport
  • Managing international shipment paperwork and processing
  • Maintaining shipping / receiving documentation
  • Overseeing lift truck inspections in EASE and ensuring safe operations
  • Conducting inventory checks and resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborating with departments to resolve shipping / receiving issues
  • Keeping warehouse and areas organized and clean
  • Recommending process improvements
  • Managing GMCCA planning, truck orders, and labeling
  • Handling employee performance, discipline, and temporary staff conversions
  • Ensuring payroll accuracy with weekly time and attendance
  • Providing continuous training on shipping / receiving processes
  • Meeting ISO9001 : 2015 and IATF 16949 standards
  • Enforcing Occupational Health and Safety compliance

What You’ll Need To Be Successful :

  • College or Technical Diploma in a related field
  • Supervisory and training experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Warehouse experience in an automotive setting (asset)
  • Supervisory experience in high-volume, fast-paced distribution operations
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating a lift truck with a valid license
