The Role
As a Vehicle Technician , you'll execute repair tasks with efficiency and precision, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with the parts department for required parts, adhering to warranty guidelines.
- Assess vehicles for additional safety or service requirements and promptly inform the Service Team.
- Act upon repair orders directed by the Workshop Controller.
- Communicate effectively regarding repair timelines.
- Document all work performed using company procedures and systems.
- Attend factory training sessions to stay updated on technical advancements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the workshop area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company code of conduct.
Requirements :
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in the motor industry.
- Possess level 2 / level 3 technician qualification.
- Hold a MOT testing qualification.
- Educated to City & Guilds or NVQ standard.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with main dealer manufacturers would be beneficial.
- Full UK driving license.
Shifts :
- Monday - Friday : 8am - 5pm
- Alternative Saturdays : 8am - 1pm
