UNIFOR - Afternoon Painter
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board serves over 38,000 learners and provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12 and adult learners) across the Waterloo Region.

General Description of Duties :
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will provide painting and finish restoration services in WCDSB buildings and complete the following duties :
M inimum Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent
One to five years work experience as a painter
Operation of mixer, power drills and other tools of the trade
Hold a valid class G drivers license with a safe driving record.
Must be self-motivated, safety conscious, have excellent interpersonal and strong organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision.
Must have working knowledge of W.H.M.I.S. system and safe handling of hazardous materials.
Basic Computer skills required.
Painter and Decorators certificate of qualification is an asset
Salary Range : $27.25 per hour plus afternoon shift premium in accordance with the UNIFOR Collective Agreement. In addition, full benefit package and OMERS Pension Plan
Hours of Work : Permanent full time : 40 hours per week / 52 weeks per year (Afternoon Shift : 3 : 15 PM to 11 : 15 PM)
