Traffic Control is a vital part of our work sites. Knowledge of traffic safety, traffic flow and traffic controls are essential in being successful in this position.

A Valid Class 5 License is required.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Interact in a professional and courteous manner with the public
• Safely direct vehicular, pedestrian and construction traffic thru the work zone
• Keeping the work zone safe of potential hazards before and after initial sign set up
• Assist with setting up and tearing down work zones which includes signs, barricades and delineators
• Requires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season (May November)
• Comply with safe working procedures and practices
• Other duties as required
