Description

ProTemps is seeking a Tool and Die Maker who specializes or has much experience in injection molding and extrusions. Must be proficient using Mastercam / SolidWorks.

Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification (required)

Part of the job will be validating the die and assisting production as required to improve efficiencies. Knowledge with vacuum and sizers would be an asset.

Experience of manual machining equipment (lathe, milling machine and horizontal grinder) is required. Die polishing would be an asset.

Proficient with EDM wire cutting to help the client to design a die from the drawings provided for the profile they are looking to have extruded.

Qualifications :

• Ability to work with Mastercam / SolidWorks and related software (required)
• Proficient with EDM wire cutting (required)
• Experience of manual machining equipment (lathe, milling machine, and surface grinder)
• Red Seal in Tool and Die Making (preferred but not required)
• Good time / workflow management
• Leadership and critical thinking
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary Range : $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year, based on skill level.

Shifts 8 hour days, 5days / wk
