Assist with the leading coaching organizationand development of the Supervisory Committee and Colleagues withinthe stewarding department.
He / she will report to the Director ofStewarding with any problems concerns suggestions and / or comments.Ensure that all employees understand their duties and theirresponsibilities while maintaining the high standards of thehotel.
- Maintenance of the high qualityof service standards required by thehotel
- Ensuring a smooth day to day operation ofthe stewarding department
- Assist in inventoryof chine glassware and silverware
- Ensure lossand breakage of China glassware and silverware is kept to aminimum
- Assist with the determination of dailystaff requirements
- Organize staff in relationto business for each outlet ensure punctuality and ensure thatstaff follow safety procedures for clothing and workhabits
- Assist with storage and issuance ofsupplies
- To foster and ensure opencommunication with kitchen banquets and all other departmentsinvolved with a function
- Follow all health andsafety rules as outlined by the department and thehotel.
- Ensure that all ECOSUREstandards processes are completed on a daily basis in area ofthe department. This includes but isntlimited to filling out daily dishwasher and pot washertemperature logs
- Act as a team leader andmotivator to all employees and ensure that the guests and employeesare satisfied
- Assist the Director of Stewardingand the Stewarding Manager with any other jobrelatedtasks
- Actively participate in the health andsafety procedures and involve staff
- Supervisingof several employees and distributing workload toeach
- Ensure that the recycling and health andsafety practices are followed in theworkplace

- HotelManagement Diploma an asset
- Good understandingof health and safety laws with proven track record including healthand safety initiatives
- Strong leader withexcellent communication skills and a willingness to get involvedwith hotelactivities
