• Preparing components for Installation :
• Installation of materials for the printing order must be done before the press lights are turned on
• Review the planning schedule in Labeltraax to determine priority production of jobs.
• Update the planning board with current information on the status of the job preparation
• Check the job ticket and verify the plate number and the conformity of all related components.
• Select the appropriate plate bag from plate storage and cross reference details to ensure components are correct.
• Mount plates on to cylinders.
• Cut sticky back for cylinder
• Retrieve the right die from storage and place on cart with plate bag and cylinder.
• Install or assist with installing dies, cylinders and other components into the press.

q Removal of components :

• Assist with removing components from the press at the completion of each job
• Clean up the press and components and return material etc. to storage.
• Remove all plates with care and place in plate washer.
• Check washed plates for defects before placing into the plate bag and Jaleema folder
• Verify all plates from the job are accounted for, cleaned and returned to plate the bag with the finished rolls
• Clean if necessary, the Ink Room, the die and store them by numerical number
• Distribute clean rags to each press throughout the week
• Empties garbage on consistent basis throughout all shifts
• All other duties as assigned
