Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Regional Indigenous Spiritual Care Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for seeking out, assessing and responding to the unique spiritual needs of patients, families and staff in an open and non-judgmental manner;
tending to the cultural / spiritual care needs of an individual and family within a medical environment. Providing the necessary guidance and resources to facilitate clients on their healing journey in a manner that is sensitive and respectful.
Experience
Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)
Certification / Licensure / Registration
Good standing within community spiritual tradition.
Qualifications and Skills
The incumbent is required to be involved in cultural / spiritual practice as a way of life, self-reflective, a critical thinker, involved in ongoing healing and personal growth and is reliable and possess integrity and excellent work ethic.
