Adecco is actively seeking a dynamic Sourcing Specialist to join our client's team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will lead strategic sourcing and procurement processes, collaborating with stakeholders to manage multiple RFP events monthly.

This role requires a proactive approach to contract management and vendor relationship management while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

  • Job type : Permanent Full-time Responsibilities :
  • Lead the strategic sourcing and procurement process with key stakeholders and the supply chain team.
  • Manage multiple RFP events monthly.
  • Analyze and prepare reports for cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Proactively manage contracts, including renewal and expiry dates, and lead cyclical planning activities with clients.
  • Implement sourcing and vendor relationship management best practices.
  • Ensure procurement policy compliance while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive optimal value by working with suppliers to align with business needs, negotiate favorable terms, and mitigate risks.
  • Partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders to execute strategic sourcing and contracting processes for goods and services.
  • Identify improvements in the sourcing and contracts process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements :
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • University undergraduate degree in a business-related discipline.
  • Professional designation or certification in Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise-level experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, and / or Procurement.
  • Experience with procurement software (SAP and / or Ariba Sourcing preferred).
  • IT sourcing experience is an asset.
  • Full proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license for travel between offices and customer meetings in southern Ontario.
  • Experience in the utility or regulated industry is an asset.
  • Proven track record of successful execution of the RFx process from inception to completion with quantifiable achievements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong decision-making, complex problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
