Job Summary

We are seeking a Sign Maker for our team who is professional, self-motivated with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence to our clients to join our team.

As a Sign Maker, the individual requires to be detail-oriented, works well in a changing team environment, and is able to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The position requires an individual who is self-confident and is not afraid to show their professional ability, creative genius, and most importantly, have fun!

Main Responsibilities

• Operation of all sign making equipment including printers, laminators, plotters, etc.
• Basic graphic design requirements such as generating proofs, production files, etc.
• Ensure accuracy of end products (measurements, colors, workmanship quality, etc.)
• Collaborate and interface with customers to comprehend customer requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing / production area
• Maintain inventory levels

Preferred Skills :

• Experience and knowledgeable with different sign materials and signage applications.
• Familiarity with large format printing processes
• Capable in manufacturing and installing various types of signage

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience as a professional sign maker design and production
• Background in vinyl creation and application
• Large format digital printing
• Design creativity
• Expertise in using Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience with RIP software
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders
• Knowledge of types of vinyl, laminate, and substrate materials and their applications
• Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.) is always an asset

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Salary : $18.00-$27.00 per hour plus benefits. Commensurate with experience

Schedule : Monday to Friday, weekends as needed.

Supplemental pay types may include :

• Overtime pay
