Your Impact

• Efficiently pack products using warehousing equipment, such as pallet jacks or hoists.
• Generate and secure shipping paperwork and labels for each shipment
• Receive material in Oracle and generate shipping paperwork accurately and promptly
• Manage shipping inventory, ensuring it is moved and stored in the designated area in the warehouse
• Back up in shippers’ absence.
• Order necessary supplies for shipping department.
• Maintaining a safe work environment and taking part in regular cleaning and maintenance.
• Meet customer order specifics in a timely manner.
• Operating warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.

Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies :

• Create labels and attach shipping related documents including dangerous goods forms, CERS, Certificates of Origin, USMA Certificates, Commercial Invoices, Packing Slips, Bill of Lading, etc.
• Contact freight forwarder and determine best way to ship in terms of delivery time and cost.
• Track all shipments until they reach their destination.
• Maintain a comprehensive shipping tracking sheet.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience :

• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
• Physical capability to perform basic tasks such as lifting up to 50lb.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping.
• Fluency in English
