Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Service Trades Maintainer within our Niagara Operations.
Reporting to the Trades Management Supervisor, the role of the Service Trades Maintainer offers a unique opportunity to support OPG's Niagara Generating Assets in working collaboratively with a variety of team members ranging from Mechanical, Electrical, and General Trades staff through inspection and maintenance activities on hydroelectric generating station components including;
general site maintenance, heavy equipment operation, hoisting and rigging, snow clearing, lawn maintenance, dam safety & public safety, and general tasks to support our ongoing operations.
This role is responsible for performing planned and emergency maintenance in support of the operation of hydro electric facilities and provide an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where you will contribute to OPG’s public outreach, engagement and education efforts as part of the company’s commitment to growing its social license.

Maintain and operate machines and shop tools required to carry out work assignments.
