Carmichael is looking for a Service Coordinator / Estimator to join our Newfoundland branch, this is a Maternity leave replacement for 15-16 months, working onsite from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Tasks and responsibilities :

  • Dispatching of service technicians
  • Scheduling and coordination of service repairs
  • Scheduling and coordination of preventive maintenance
  • Estimation for service and repair work
  • Issue work orders to technicians
  • Issue purchase orders to vendors
  • Responsible for purchasing all parts services and equipment for scheduled maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate daily check in and check out of all field technicians

Requirements :

  • College or vocational study in business administration, operations, or similar
  • Must have a positive attitude, experience in dispatch is not necessary but an asset.
  • At least 2 of experience working in a coordination role, preferably within a service company is an asset.
  • Hvac experience is an asset
  • Candidates must have great time management and organizational skills
  • Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools as well as having the ability to learn and operate a variety of in house computer software
