Hours : 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm (flexibility as needed), Monday - Friday
Salary Range : $75,000 - $85,000
What You'll Be Doing :
- Develop new and redesign current products while following all relevant processes.
- Develop & maintain product specifications, SOP’s, product formulation, process, and product costing.
- Plan, organize, execute, and lead plant trials.
- Coordinate the collection, labeling, packaging, and distribution of samples.
- Coordinate nutritional analysis and shelf-life studies.
- Conduct evaluation of competitive products and report findings.
- Coordinate sourcing, testing, and documentation of new ingredients.
- Conduct R&D and testing of new ingredients, packaging, and process techniques.
- Ensure developed products comply with government regulations, food safety, and certification requirements.
- Keep current on technology, new ingredients, and food industry trends.
- Participate in team projects and work collaboratively with others.
- Plan & prioritize work to meet required deadlines.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary, or a related field (B.Sc. preferred).
- 4-7 years of Product Development or R&D experience in Food Manufacturing.
- Experience in a Bakery or Culinary environment (must have).
