Hello! Here's what we are looking for :

Looking for a live in PSW to replace our amazing caregiver, who will be leaving at the end of October. This role would require the candidate to support with lovely, elderly Italian couple in Woodbridge area.

Major intersection : Langstaff / Hwy 27. Looking for a candidate who is personable, has strong communication skills and experience working with adults who have cognitive impairments.

Wifi, utilities and cable access. Comes furnished. Access to car is bonus, as this role would potentially involve driving to / from appointments (additional compensation to be discussed during interview call).

Parking spot is also included.

Duties would include :

• assisting in personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, undressing, toileting, and ambulation
• administering medication or reminders to take them
• planning and preparing meals
• feeding
• changing non-sterile dressings
• Light housekeeping such as doing the laundry, making the bed, washing the dishes, vacuuming, and sweeping or mopping the floor
• Socializing / companionship
• helping with exercises
• observing and reporting hazardous conditions and physical, behavioral, and cognitive changes in the client
• laundry / light housekeeping
• driving to / from appointments / day programming (not daily)

Start date : November 1st, 2024
