SEN 1 : 1 Support Learning Support Assistant for primary school.

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with children with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other SEN?

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a 1 : 1 Support Learning Support Assistant.

SEN 1 : 1 Support Learning Support Assistant for primary school Responsibilities :

• Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, including ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning challenges.
• Address social and emotional needs of students, creating a supportive and nurturing environment.
• Utilize behavioral management techniques to support students with challenging behaviors.
• Apply various learning methods and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support student progress.
• Support non-verbal students in communication and interaction within the classroom environment.

SEN 1 : 1 Support Learning Support Assistant for primary school Requirements :

• Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other learning challenges.
• Knowledge and understanding of social and emotional needs of children with SEN.
• Strong behavioral management skills and ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors.
• Experience working with non-verbal children and implementing communication strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in SEN support or education are desirable.
