Responsibilities :
- Sanitation Operations : Plan, coordinate, and execute all sanitation activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Team Management : Manage a team of 9 sanitation workers, providing ongoing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Inspection and Compliance : Perform thorough post cleaning inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure they meet pre-operational standards.
Liaise with Canadian Food Inspection agency as required.
- Cleaning Procedures : Lead sanitation procedures, including cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and safety protocols. Address and correct any issues promptly.
- Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications :
- 3+ year’s experience in a supervisory role within the food processing industry. Preference given to meat or beef processing.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform hands on tasks during shifts.
- In-Depth understanding of sanitation practice, food safety regulations, and GMP principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Adaptable and resourceful with a proven ability to solve problems effectively.
