Full-Time Personal Lines Broker / Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Location : Newmarket, ON

Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Salary : Commensurates with experience

Job Overview :

Our client, located in Newmarket, is seeking a Full-time Personal Lines Broker / CSR to join their team. This is an in-office position with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM .

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing excellent customer service to existing policyholders and must hold a RIBO license in good standing .

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver exceptional customer service to policyholders by responding to inquiries
• Provide guidance on insurance products, conduct renewal reviews, process endorsements, and handle new submissions
• Follow up promptly with client requests and ensure timely service delivery
• Accurately input and manage client data within the broker management system
• Document claims and manage the claims resolution process
• Stay updated on industry practices and underwriting guidelines
• Communicate professionally and effectively with underwriters

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service
• Proficiency with insurance industry software, including Applied Rating Services (quoting system)
• Knowledge of Powerbroker (Broker Management System)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
