Job Description

• Provide quality and timely repairs and maintenance to primarily orchestral stringed instruments (violins, violas, cellos, and basses) specifically for our rental fleet.
• Inspect musical instruments to determine the requirement for repair.
• Perform services ranging from basic set-ups (restring, bridge / soundpost / peg replacement, etc) to more complex repairs (neck resetting, crack repair, etc) and minor bow work (rehairs, tip face and grip work).
• Maintain accurate and detailed computer records of all active repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace

Job Requirements

• Completion of college or other courses relevant to musical instruments repair recommended
• Secondary School education is required
• Proven strong work ethic and commitment
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Positive attitude and steady composure
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
