Lafarge, one of Canada’s leading suppliers of ready mix concrete has a requirement for Ready-Mix truck drivers for the Kenora area for the upcoming construction season.

These positions will be defined as part-time seasonal and could possibly become full-time if work load warrants it; some locations operate all year round.

Location : Kenora, ON

Responsibilities

• Delivering concrete to customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Follows and ensures full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain truck appearance, assist with light maintenance around the Concrete plant
• Paperwork circle checks, delivery ticket information.

Qualifications

• Educational Background : Grade 12 diploma
• Experience : A clean driving record. 3 - 5 years of experience in the trucking industry preferred Training will be provided for operating the Ready Mix truck.

Physical Attributes : Lifting, carrying, climbing, bending, reaching, push / pull, gripping, squatting, etc.
