We are hiring Forklift operators (Raymond Reach and Dock Stocker) for our client in Brampton

Shift : 2 pm to 11 pm Monday to Friday

Pay rate : $21 / hr.

The associate will be responsible for operating a machine to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform fill orders and check the accuracy of other orders.

As well, operators will be responsible to ensure the working order of their forklifts prior to use.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup on time (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Documenting time of departures and arrivals of shipments

Receiving and processing warehouse inventory (pick, unload, label, store)

Performing inventory controls and maintaining high quality standards for audits

Inspecting stock for damages and documenting damages

Organizing and supplies, products, and equipment, making them easily accessible in a warehouse, tool room, or other location

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment while optimizing space utilization

Reporting any inconsistencies

Communicating and collaborating with coworkers and supervisors

Maintaining and operating warehouse vehicles and equipment (e.g., Order Picker)

Maintaining quality service standards while adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations

Performing other related duties as assigned

Key Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

2-3 years of experience working as a general laborer, preferably in a warehouse

Certified license to operate Order Picker, Stand-Up Dock Stocker and / or Pacer

Ability to operation Reach, Swing Reach desirable

Proven knowledge of inventory stocking procedures

Ability to operate RF Scanner effectively

4 Step Worker Health & Safety Awareness Training

Attention to detail, part numbers etc.

Working Conditions

Standard schedule : Monday to Friday / 2pm 11pm

Overtime may be required on occasions
