About

Our growing company is looking for a Quality Control coordinator. Day shift from Monday to Friday. Fridays we finish at 11 : 30 am!

  • You'll work closely with the two Quality Control Technician and be responsible for..;
  • Ensuring that the requirements of the Canadian Food Safety Regulations and the HACCP and SQF systems are maintained;
  • Support the QC Technician in her daily tasks;
  • Know and comply at all times with food quality and safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies;
  • Provide HACCP and SQF training to new employees;
  • Participate in maintaining organic, Vegan, Halal and Kosher certifications;
  • In collaboration with the Quality Control Technician and the line operator, carry out checks of the bottling line before and during bottling ;
  • Enforce the food safety culture that is accountable to its success;
  • Prepare documentation;
  • Participate in the documentation management process to ensure compliance;
  • Contribute to the preparation of audits for the renewal of various certifications such as SQF, Organic, Halal and Kosher.

  • Enjoy office work and want to be in action sporadically;
  • Bilingual (English, French), oral and written; Spanish an asset;
  • Demonstrate rigor, autonomy and a sense of responsibility;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • At least 2 years' experience in the field, or any experience deemed relevant;
  • Experience in agri-food manufacturing;
  • DEC in dietetic techniques (food processing - nutrition - management) or equivalent;
  • Master HACCP / SQF standards.
