Perform Payroll testing of assigned, new and changed systems that affect all Enterprise Technology business lines and changes in application systems to maintain system integrity in the Production environment.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will :
Perform testing for assigned application systems by reviewing and evaluating requirements and design documentation, developing test strategies and comprehensive test documentation and reporting the progress of testing tasks to the Reporting Manager (Senior QAT SAP Payroll Specialist).
The testing tasks include testing of the local SAP Payroll HR IT processes and related activities to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of HR input to support payroll processing for local employees and assignees.
Perform annual data testing and payroll auditing for HR team and other SOX control compliance requirements including year-end processes and participate in sessions to provide analysis and solutions to complex payroll issues and requirements.
Provide and participate in test support activities for annual data testing and payroll auditing for HR team and other SOX control compliance requirements.

Ensure the completion of assigned project, change request and related SAP testing activities as planned and in accordance with established standards, regulatory requirements and the Bank’s policies and procedures.
and document detailed test cases, test data; all approval and discussion emails and all test documents are created and stored in the HPQC.
Test activities include the creation and design of test documentation such as test scenarios, test cases, test scripts and test exit report.
Provide test plan, workday estimates, test scripts; create and design of UAT test plans, identify test data and scenarios to test and create the Test Exit Report and test documents detailing all test cases and scenarios validated during the course of the test execution.
Ensure the highest quality of service in the delivery of the initiatives and items which are promoted to the Production environment.
Participate in the code implementation strategies review sessions to avoid risks during production delivery and review and appraise code changes during testing for implications and impacts on the system.
Uphold all Internal Controls requirements in all test activities and tasks and implement efficiencies to optimize control processes.
Handle year-end T4 processes with regards to HR inputs and data quality.
Comply with all control measures put in place to promote data integrity and adhere to the laid down procedures and processes.
Employees’ personal information must not be sent through unsecure platforms such as email and their year end forms, personal details and compensation should not be viewed by another employee.
Review planned activities for future initiatives, participate in forward-planning sessions and identify / resolve conflicts between initiatives.
Analyze industry best practices to recommend improvements to methodology, test environments and workflow to promote an efficient and cost-effective testing process.
Recommend changes to current processes to provide more effective use of the HRIS and take the lead as a project manager to implement these changes.
Participate in developing and documenting procedures to streamline processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain documentation of reporting processes and training guides as it pertains to SAP Payroll.
