Job Summary
Provides comprehensive management of merit-review processes for competitions. Provides analysis and advice concerning merit review, program administration, policy questions, planning, and accountability to support decision-making on merit review processes, corporate priorities and programs’ objectives.
Represents the views and policies of the division and of the granting agency in interactions with a wide audience, including applicants, selection committees, administrators, as well as other stakeholders and their associations.

Education
An undergraduate degree from a recognized university
A graduate degree is an asset
Foreign Credential Validation against Canadian Standards
Experience
Experience in research in a university, college, government, or not-for profit organization or similar setting
Experience in research and data analysis
Experience in providing recommendations to management Experience in the administration of research and / or award funding programs is an asset
Experience in the analysis of policies and programs is an asset
Experience in supervising staff is an asset
Knowledge
Knowledge of the academic environment and research community
Knowledge of project management principles
Knowledge of other levels of government and not-for profit, public and private sectors that may impact programs, projects, and activities of the federal granting agencies is an asset
