- Plans and assigns work to production employees
- Implements policies and procedures
- Recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions
- Ensures effective employee relations
- Provides employee coaching and development
- Makes employment decisions and resolves employee issues through problem resolution
- Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; works to continuously improve in all areas
- Manages departmental performance measures, including efficiencies and provides regular progress reports to manufacturing manager
- Performs accident investigations
- Maintains proper inventory levels
- Manages department priorities
- Tracks absenteeism and time keeping
Ideal Requirements :
Education : Post secondary or equivalent experience.
- Experience : 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a automotive manufacturing environment.
