About

What you’ll do

  • Be responsible to empower the process team through setting expectations and objectives using the implementation of operating plans, procedures, and programs.
  • Cultivate a positive safety culture and ensure team members are complying with company policies to ensure duties and responsibilities are performed in a satisfactory manner.
  • Provide ongoing communication, coaching, feedback and mentoring to Process Operators.
  • Prepare and conduct performance reviews for team members.
  • Coordinate process staffing schedule during night shift and weekends.

Who you’ll work with :

The Team : You will work closely with Process Operators, and Process Supervisors. You will lead a team of up to 10 Process Operators and report to the Section (Zone) Supervisor.

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and :

  • Have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of one year of post-secondary training / technical training. Power Engineering certification (minimum 4th class) is considered a strong asset.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, plus 6 years of experience within an industrial or production environment (a combined 8+ years of relevant, progressively responsible experience).

A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

  • Have a Class 5 driver’s license in good standing.
  • On-scene Commander Training and Fire Brigade Leader Certificate are preferred.
