Pipefitter

Full-time, Temp to Perm

Location : St. Catherine's

Pay : $30 / hr

The Pipefitter is responsible for the layout, assembly, installation and maintenance of piping systems.

Responsibilities :

Install and maintain piping and associated systems adhering to acts and regulations to company standards

Perform preventative maintenance procedures, to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and manage equipment efficiencies

Operating accessory equipment for pipe fitting (pipe beveling, pipe threading, pipe cutting, torch or plasma cutter, drill press)

Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal pipe, valves and fittings.

Qualifications & Experience :

H2S Alive

Confined Space Entry and / or Rescue

CSTS 09

WHMIS 2015

Journeyman Ticket

Understanding of control systems is an asset

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situation
