Physiotherapy Assistant Home and Community

Location : North area of Stouffville

We are looking for a self-motivated Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Our PTA will be working under a registered Physiotherapist to provide health teaching, and exercise programs.

A successful PTA would be able to administer care plans for Physiotherapists.

If you are a new Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant program graduate, our team provides comprehensive exposure to learning and development opportunities.

What you will be doing :

  • You will be working with our physiotherapy and occupational therapy team under the supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide health teaching and perform exercise programs with clients.

Skills needed for success :

  • Graduates from a recognized physiotherapy program or kinesiology is an asset.
  • A proven track record of being able to work independently, as well as comfortable working in a team.
  • Building relationships with clients and their families / caregivers
  • Access to a reliable vehicle and Canadian Driver’s license is a must
  • Eligible to work in Canada is required.
