Person, who designs, analyses, assesses and applies professional techniques in the field of human resources, with a view to ensuring optimal performance.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

  • Ensures the entire process of the staffing cycle;
  • Develops, updates and evaluates the various tools required for the staffing cycle;
  • Develops strategies and tools for recruitment and visibility as needed and assess the impact;
  • Participates in different visibility activities with different partners;
  • Participates in the exercise of the organizational workforce planning and in the definition of the resources need of its client groups;
  • Participates in the process of integrating and welcoming new staff;
  • Compiles statistics used as management indicators;

Establishes and maintains effective communications with the various human resources departments, the organization and the MSSS.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in administration, human resources, industrial relations or another university appropriate discipline.

Experience :

Three (3) years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Abilities :

  • knowledge of MSSS legislation, regulations, the Ministry Network and programs, and current trends;
  • Knowledge of First Nation health / social service models, trends and issues is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Cree culture, language, and social / health realities in Eeyou Istchee is an asset;
  • Communication, leadership and teamwork skills;
  • Excellent planning and decision making skills;
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

LANGUAGE

Fluent in English and French;

Fluency in Cree is an asset.

OTHER

  • Willing to travel on a regular basis.
