We are currently hiring Part Time and Full Time Personal Attendants to join our teamlocated in Paris, Ontario.

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are currently hiring a Part Time Personal Attendant to join our Willet Team! Willet is a transitional care bed program located in Paris in The Willet Hospital.

This program operates 7 days a week and candidates needs to be flexible and available for a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, or nights.

This includes every other weekend and statutory holidays.

We provide services across the Golden Horseshoe in the Mississauga, Burlington, Stoney Creek and Hamilton communities.

DUTIES INCLUDE :

  • Providing non-medical personal support services, life-skills support and light housekeeping duties for adults in a vulnerable population group to enable them to remain independent in their own homes.
  • This support is provided under the direction of the clients and / or their alternate decision maker and is in accordance with the client services contracts and supervisor's directives and within the laws and regulations affecting the provision of these services.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • High School Diploma
  • Courses relating to personal support services for persons with disabilities or seniors, health & safety, first aid, physical and emotional needs of persons is an asset
  • Experience providing support for persons with disabilities or seniors on a paid or voluntary basis either in a work setting or through personal life experiences is beneficial.

Personal Support Worker certificate is not required for this position but is considered an asset.
