Nature and scope of function : For all Canadian employees- Collects and sends payroll information to payroll provider- Receive, analyze and verify payroll documents;
Process payroll and employee file changes (creation, termination, transfer, schedule changes);- Follow up on employee termination and reactivation files.
Follow up on employee probation periods- Prepare Records of Employment and complete Employment Insurance Office survey forms;
Proactively monitor mandatory training schedules and general attendance in collaboration with the production department;
Register employees for insurance and RRSPs and make changes when necessary.- Send reports requested by accounting, HR and the union- Respond to questions and requests from employees, managers and external organizations regarding payroll data for unionized personnel;
Contribute to maintaining product security by adopting behaviors that meet defined requirements.
