JOB DESCRIPTION
Georgetown Chrysler has an immediate requirement for a Parts Manager to join our successful dealership. In this key role, you will report to directly to the Dealer Principal and you will be responsible for the running of the entire Parts Department.
The role will include but will not be limited to coaching staff, maintaining inventory, dealing with internal, retail and wholesale customers with all parts related needs.
Major Tasks :
- Take charge in parts ordering, stocking, returns and maintaining all parts inventory
- Provide price quotes and other related parts information via the telephone or email whenever the need arises
- Provide technicians at the service shop counter with parts accurately and efficiently to ensure they have all the required parts for the repair whenever the need arises.
- Keep a balanced stock, corresponding to the needs of the service department and external customers. Controls and adjusts stock to minimize obsolete items.
- Selling parts to customers over the retail counter, through the service department, over the telephone or by email and to our large wholesale account base
- Maintain efficient communications within the parts department, as well as with other departments.
- Review files regularly to keep track of back orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized parts room.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectation
- Coaching Parts Team.
