What you will do

You will support volleyball by being responsible for overseeing games, promoting fair play and enforcing the official rules and regulations of the YMCA Volleyball League.

You will remain committed to safety by maintaining and restocking First Aid supplies. You will call games according to the official rules and regulations while tracking on the scoreboard, and keep program spaces clean and free of debris.

Additionally in this role you will have regular communication and consultation with players including things like ball inflation and best of series length (for playoffs).

What you will bring

You have and understanding of the rules of volleyball and can follow gameplay. Candidates need to be at least 16 years or turning 16 during the 2022 calendar.

Candidates understand how to manage and educate others on risk and harm reduction. You will demonstrate responsible behaviour at all times and maintain high ethical standards.

You are committed to working in a socially inclusive environment responding with sensitivity and personal awareness to diverse needs.

You will have well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with fellow employees, participants, members and guests.

You will also be required to present a clear, current, Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening.
