Industrial Production Painter Helper

We are looking for a Painter Helper for our afternoon shift (3.00pm 1 : 30am) to join our Indal team at our Mississauga position.

This new role is to support our growing business and support our increased workload.

Your Challenge :

Read and interpret engineering drawings for masking requirements

Follow written instructions such as Work Orders, Work Instructions as well as verbal instructions

Follow paint department functions with regard to surface preparation, sanding, masking, and plugging

Must follow job hazard analysis, safety rules, and responsibilities defined by OHSA.

What You Bring :

Good housekeeping and organizational skills

Ability to operate and work with forklifts, overhead cranes, plate clamps, slings, and chains

Experience with hand tools such as scrapers, drivers, wrenches, sanders, and measuring tape

Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task are key assets

Must be eligible to meet the requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CPG) and a Canadian government security clearance
