Responsibilities :

  • Assist an existing HR team in conveying corporate messaging and corporate vision throughout the organization
  • Provide a dedicated support service to employees that covers employee related matters including grievances, organizational change, absence and health
  • Pro-actively work closely with all leaders within the organization to identify and resolve conflict within teams
  • Drive employee engagement and retention efforts through effective communication, recognition programs, and employee development initiatives
  • Take lead on all corporate event initiatives including sponsorship and donations
  • Assist in the cultivation of our uniquely diverse and inclusive culture
  • Keep all company policies and procedures current
  • Organize and maintain personnel records in the internal databases
  • Other related duties as needed to support the HR team

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years’ work experience in a team environment
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations an asset
  • Excellence in customer service and communication skills
  • A respectful, collaborative, professional demeanor
  • Ability to muti-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
  • ADP and SharePoint experience is an asset
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Superior follow up, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to take initiatives and self-driven to learn, commitment to continuous improvement
  • Open-minded with the ability to follow instructions and deliver quality results

The salary for this role is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week. The estimated range is between $68,000-$87,500 annually, depending on skills and experience.
