As an Operational Technology (OT) Associate you will be

implementing and maintaining various systems and tools that support the production departments as they work towards improving asset reliability and lowering cost.

These software tools will include but are not limited to MES (Activplant), ECM (Autosave), CMMS (Maximo), IIoT technologies, and Data Management and Analytics suites.

Successful candidates should possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills to help identify new opportunities to implement and expand systems and solutions that will help increase HCM’s reliability and asset performance.

Strong communication skills are necessary to successfully implement these key technologies which will often require collaboration between the Production Department, Informational Technology, Operational Technology, and the North American Production Engineering Team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong PLC system knowledge and ladder logic programming experience
• Experience with structure queries language (SQL) and Microsoft Visual Studio
• Strong Industrial Control System (ICS) networking knowledge (MELSEC-NET, CC-IE, Controller Link)
• Demonstrated experience in graphical designs for visual management (e.g. Microsoft Visio)
• Strong downtime analysis and reporting skills (Throughput analysis, and value stream mapping identification)
• Basic understanding of Industrial Computer Control System
• Demonstrated experience working with standards and regulations
• Knowledge of Industrial Cyber Security principles (Fire Walls, IP addressing management)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Automation Engineering Technologist Diploma or similar Engineering Degree or relevant automation work experience
