Position Overview :

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeping Administrator to join our team. After a probationary period, this role will transition to full-time hours during tax season (approx.

February to May), with the successful candidate securing a permanent full time position. The Bookkeeping Administrator will play a pivotal role in business administration, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting team.

This is a starting position with a total of two weeks of unpaid training in a hybrid format for unqualified candidates.

Responsibilities may include duties such as :

  • Provide reception and clerical support in front-end services.
  • Maintain social media and advertising campaigns.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience or training in bookkeeping, accounting, administration, data entry, and / or marketing roles.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Freshbooks), current certification is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with strong English written and oral comprehension.
  • Knowledge, experience, or training in tax preparation processes is an asset.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CPB) is preferred.
