MMTC Administrative Support & Cook
MLTC was created by nine First Nations located in north-west Saskatchewan who have constitutionally recognized aboriginal rights and Treaty Rights under Treaties #6, #8 and #10.
The primary purpose of MLTC is to serve those First Nations in their aspirations for cultural, economic and political autonomy.
As a private sector employer engaged primarily in promoting and serving the interests of the member First Nations, MLTC asserts its right to provide preferential treatment to First Nations people, giving them priority in decisions on employment matters such as hiring, and this can extend to measures such as opening competitions only to First Nations people.
The Meadow Lake Tribal Council is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to fill the full time, permanent position of Mistahey Musqua Treatment Centre (MMTC) Administrative Support & Cook.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support and be responsible for planning and preparing all meals for MMTC clients and guests located in Loon Lake, Sk.
Position Duties and Responsibilities :
booking facilities / rooms, etc.Answer / forward incoming calls; greet and provide assistance to all visitors etc.Completing other duties as assigned by the MMTC Manager.
and preparing menus for dietary purposes (i.e. diabetes, allergies, etc.).Coordinating and preparing foods for special events and outings.
Ensuring all sanitary and health regulations / standards are adhered to (i.e. hair nets, aprons, gloves, etc.).Maintaining cleanliness and up-keep of the kitchen, dining room, food storage areas / pantry, and other food service areas.
Order and stocking supplies as needed and ensuring that there is ample food for all meals.
