On behalf of our client, we are looking to hire Millwright apprentices for a manufacturing plant in Langley. This is a full-time permanent position with great perks and benefits.

There are multiple locations throughout Canada with over 700 employees.

This will be a weekly rotating shift with the following schedule :

• Graveyard- Sunday to Thursday 11PM to 7AM
• Morning Monday to Friday 7AM to 5PM
• Afternoon- Monday to Friday 3PM to 11PM

Your tasks :

• Routine maintenance and repair on of all Plant equipment including but not limited to; pulpers, extruders, thermo-forming machines, printers, padders, screw compressors, pumps, fans and blower
• Tool changes and machine setup
• Welding, lathe & milling work
• Support machine operator
• Troubleshoot and maintain the plant’s electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems
• Working on Conveyors, PLC, assisted control panels, gearboxes, pumps (water, HVAC)

The required qualifications :

• 2nd, 3rd and 4th level Millwright
• Manufacturing and pulp & paper industry asset
• Physically fit
• Ability to work morning and graveyard shift
• PLC experience is an asset
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Welding, lathe & milling work
