Description Acara is looking for a Millwright to join our client in Brampton, ON. Pay Rate : $42 / hr. Duration : Full-time The position of Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving to ensure the machines are in proper working order to meet production demands.

This is a stand-alone role and provides an autonomous opportunity for the right individual!

• Provide maintenance support to plant facility with CNC machines, robotics, and PLC's.
• Work to tight deadlines where machines are down as well as supporting preventative maintenance programs in a high tolerance environment.
• Troubleshoot problems and work with machine suppliers and technicians to ensure production is maintained.
• Member of the Maintenance Team and provide support and department coverage to other team members.
• Participate in Pre-Start Health and Safety Programs and work with external suppliers to ensure compliance.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5+ years of previous experience maintaining machines and repairing equipment.
• Previous CNC machine maintenance experience, basic robotics, PLC's, and a broad understanding of machine repair is required.
• Valid Millwright (443A) License required.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and general electrical controls.
