Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? Timberlands Food Store presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a casual Meat Clerk to join our dynamic team.

Position : Meat Clerk

Casual : Less than 24 hours per week

Availability : Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare, wrap, price and stock all varieties and cuts of meat
  • Ensure that displays are fully stocked and properly faced
  • Value-added duties
  • Practice safe food handling procedures and wear appropriate attire
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications :

  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available
  • Capable of working in a cold / refrigerated environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
  • Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
