Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Engineer or Track Superintendent, this position is responsible for performing site maintenance while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
- Performs active or preventative maintenance as directed
- Fabricates repair parts
- Maintains parts and equipment inventories : anticipates requirements, fills out purchase order requests
- Performs basic repairs and painting as needed
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance including mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and DDC
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License

- Standing for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending and non-traditional work hours
