Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Hands-on diagnoses of mechanical, electrical and control problems and subsequent implementation of innovative solutions to address the real root cause of issues
- Responsible for troubleshooting and fine tuning of all food processing equipment and general maintenance in a major food processing operation
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability, participating in continuous improvement projects and completing work orders according to PM schedules
- Promptly respond to equipment related issues with customer oriented manner
- Repair high speed filling and packaging lines and other plant production equipment
- Participate in new equipment installation and re-arrangements as well as predictive and preventive work
Key Requirements :
Industrial Millwright designation
433A) preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a HACCP certified food manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot & remedy problems with food and high speed processing equipment
- Good knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- Strong team player with aptitude for continuous improvement
