Machine Operator(Print production)

Ourclient in the printing industry is seeking a Machine Operator tooversee document production and insertion processes at amulticustomer location.

The role involves operating largescaleinsertion equipment and performing hand insertion tasks to preparedocuments for mailing through Canada Post.

You will work closelywith a production team to ensure highquality results that meetcustomer requirements. This position requires attention to detailstrong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently in afastpacedenvironment.

Whatis in it foryou :

Hourly salary of $16.50.

12monthcontract.

Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.

Workschedule from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm.

Onsite work in a dynamicenvironment.

Responsibilities :

Perform insertion services using large inserters and hand insertionmethods.

Program and set upinsertion equipment to meet jobspecifications.

Clean andmaintain equipment conducting minor repairs as needed to reduceservice calls and maximizeuptime.

Ensure quality controlthroughout the production process to deliver flawless customerjobs.

Record job details maintainproduction forms and trackinventory.

Handinsert multipledocuments into various sizes of envelopes formailing.

Ensure documents arecorrectly prepared for Canada Poststandards.

Communicateeffectively with customers and the production team to maintain ahigh level of customersatisfaction.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

High school diploma.

2 years ofexperience in a print shopenvironment.

Familiarity withW&D Insertion Equipment NeoPost / Quadient Mail Machine andPitney Bowes Mail Machine (anasset).

Ability to operate largecentralized digital equipment.

Experience in finishing / binding equipmentoperation.

Proficiency with PCapplications in a networkedenvironment.

Strong attention todetail and ability to detect productioninconsistencies.

Effectivecommunication skills both verbal andwritten.

Ability to followinstructions and work independently with minimalsupervision.

Willingness to learnand adapt to new processes.

Ability to work collaboratively in a teamenvironment.

Able to stand forlong periods and lift up to 50lbs.
