Our client a growing logistics provider is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to add to their team in Mississauga.

This position provides a high level of customer service, overseeing and facilitating the delivery of trucks to the warehouse, managing both inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with customers and managing the yard for incoming shipments.

Main Duties & Responsibilities :

Coordinate Truck Deliveries, schedule and manage the arrival and departure of trucks, communicate with drivers and carriers on delivery schedules.

Monitor and manage incoming and plan schedule outbound loads, verify documents, prepare shipping documentation and ensure proper arrangement of trucks in the yard for efficient loading and unloading.

Warehouse coordination, maintain accurate records. Liase with warehouse, drivers, suppliers, customers and carriers. As well as other duties as required.

Requirements :

• Minimum 1 year experience as Logistics Coordinator.
• Post Secondary College Degree in Logistics.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Excellent problem solving ability and effective complaint resolution.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work professionally and effectively with customers and all levels of Management.
• Strong team player.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Clear Criminal Background Check.
