Jardeg has an expression of interest for local B-Pessure Rig Welder's by Hand for Bonnyville's Fabrication Shop located in Bonnyville, AB.

The Bonnyville Fabrication Shop does fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel and skid packages for the oil and gas industry anywhere in Alberta.

For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications.

As a longtime part of the Bonnyville and area community, we take pride in supporting and contributing to local organizations that improve and enhance community life.

Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines, and equipment.

Welders develop patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints, and work orders, as well as clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch and welding parts together.

Responsibilities :

• Working knowledge of welding equipment involved with various welding procedures
• Have thorough knowledge of metals, arc electrodes, welding gases and gas welding filter rods.
• Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, or SAW to weld pressure piping.

Minimum Requirements :

• Journeyperson Certification and / or Interprovincial Red Seal
• Alberta B-Pressure ticket or equivalent if from another province
• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Class 5 Driver’s License (Non-GDL) and a 3-year Driver’s Abstract
• Welding tickets and / or welder performance qualification testing required - as per Site's Performance Qualification testing of welder’s guideline.
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
• CWB - Welder - Fab & Assembly- must be able to read and interpret Acorn & isometric drawing
• CWB - Welder - previous tacking experience is an asset / Apprentice 2-3 yr
• Stainless experience is an asset
