Lansdowne Centre in Kamloops is hiring a permanent full time Life Skills Outreach Worker to join our Seniors MHSU team.

Who are we looking for?

The Life Skills Outreach Worker is a member of a multi-disciplinary Mental Health and Addictions Team providing a comprehensive array of services within a psychosocial rehabilitation framework to adults with serious and persistent mental illness and / or within a harm reduction framework for those with substance use problems / disorders and who experience severe challenges in daily living as a result.

This position will provide these services offering a variety of rehabilitative and treatment modalities inclusive of outreach, community and facility care.

The successful applicant will be required to carry out the physical and mental demands of the position.

What will you work on?

This position will support seniors with serious and persistent Mental Health issues and or Substance Use who are living in the community.

Scheduling information :

Shifts types are days and shift times are from 08 : 30 to 16 : 30 hours.
