Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Millwright for our client located in Toronto . They are into the business of infrastructure manufacturing.

Responsibilities :

  • Install, assemble, and align industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, and production lines according to specifications and blueprints.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues with manufacturing equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using various tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and welders.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and mechanical systems to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections in the company’s maintenance management system.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably in the infrastructure manufacturing industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a deep understanding of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and precision alignment techniques.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools, including welding equipment, lathes, and milling machines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.

Location : Toronto

Shift : Day & Afternoon

Pay Rate : $28 / hr. to $35 / hr. (depending upon experience)

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay : $28.00-$35.00 per hour
